Dear Kent Self Storage Client,

Storage sites and transport are an important part of the goods distribution network and as such are required by the Government to continue to operate in the current environment. Events are unfolding at a rapid pace, but our objective is to keep our storage warehouses open in so far as we can, so that our business customers can continue to operate their essential services.  Particularly for entities using our services such as mini logistics for e-tailing and online selling of essential goods. The Government has specifically said online retailing should continue.  However, there is a need to balance this against the regulations required to limit the spread of Coronavirus which is why we will not be accepting any new customers during April to limit contact between our staff and customers.  At KSS, the health and safety of our customers and staff is our principal priority, therefore we will also be restricting access to our reception to ensure social distancing guidelines are maintained.  Our storage site is not a crowded place, is largely automated and has low intensity use but we urge you to look at the announcements from Public Health England and the Government and follow their advice on Covid19 AT ALL TIMES.

If you do not need to use your container for ESSENTIAL SERVICES during this time our storage site will continue to be monitored 24/7 internally and EXTERNALLY to maintain security.

Whilst permitted, our access hours will remain the same but please keep movements to the minimum and essential.  We do understand things are changing very quickly and we will continue to closely monitor information from the UK Government and our Public Health Officials which could mean operating conditions are subject to change at short notice.  We will update our website , post notices in reception windows , send emails and generally try to keep you informed via as many methods as we can.  We are experiencing similar challenges in our own business.  If you have any questions at all, please get in touch. We will do all we can to try and help you through these unprecedented times as best we can.

In summary , in addition to the Government Guidelines, from one human being to another, please exercise common sense and stay safe.

These measures, if observed correctly, should ensure risk of transmission is minimal.

·      RESPECT SOCIAL DISTANCING

·      RESPECT OTHERS

·      KEEP MOVEMENTS TO A MINIMUM
